The laboratory was founded by Dr. Shiang-Hwua Yu in 2004, devoted to projects at the following topics 
1.High-efficiency power electronics design for power conversion and amplification 
2.Modulation and control of power electronics circuit 
3.Relay control or quantized control involved in the power electronics application 
4.Feedback cancellation of switching noise and harmonics 
Short-term Projects
Long-term Projects One of the cores of power electronic circuits for switched-mode power conversion and amplification is multilevel modulation and multilevel control, which are very important research problems in answering an intriguing question:

" How to hide a continuous signal in a series of discontinuous pulses and faithfully recover it back with little noise and distortion? "

We have developed a lot of useful techniques and applied them to the following list of interesting industrial applications:
